Three more days left till the big trip

Today was a day for pre packing. Seems like I have some room to spare. Glad for not being over the maximum weight limit for luggage (20 klg./50 lbs.). I am sure that by the time we leave I will have found things I have forgotten or can add for someone else.

This trip is going to be a real eye opener, we are hearing many people comment.  I hope and pray that we will forever be changed. We hope to go to slums, orphanages, churches, Taj Mahal and other places. We are told that we can get an experience riding an elephant if we so desire.  Yipeee!!!

Also, even though India is a country where the second most used language is English, it doesn't mean that we will be able to understand everything or be understood, so this will add to our adventure, I believe...

9 Days till we begin our trip to India!

Packing and getting all the supplies we need together. Compiling lists of people that we will meet with while there. Meeting together and making last minute changes to the itinerary. What a list!!! I am such a list person (Lisa).

There are 4 of us going. Andre & Liena (husband and wife), Julia  and I, each have a story to tell about why we are going and how it all came about that we will go together. I hope to post our story before the day we leave. Our hope and prayer is that as you read each post it will change you just as us going will there will change us.

So much to do and so little time. Feelings of such excitement and anticipation, but not like going on a vacation. It is more like an adventure. Please join us and let us know what you think.
